Directions: Whichever route you take, allow 1 hour 40 minutes after entering the toll road!
Option A: "Gempol-Pandaan-Prigen-Trawas-Pacet" road.
Take toll-road to Gempol; after toll-booth, proceed in direction Malang. At Pandaan petrol station turn right around back of petrol station and then left up the hill towards Prigen. At Y-fork turn right to Trawas and zero odometer. Travel on a 'snakey' road for about 10km. Just before Pacet you have to turn left where the sign states "Coban Canggu / Banyu Panas". Follow this road straight-up, do-not turn right to Ubulan! Proceed for 500 m, passing a large-spoiled sign-board on your right (where once was written: 'Bukit Pacet Indah'). Watch on your right and you will smell the bier in the truck!

Option B: "Gempol-Ngoro-Mojosari-Bir Bintang Plant-Pandan-Pacet" way.
After Gempol toll-booth, at round-about turn right to Gempol town. At the end of this straight-road turn left to a double-lane, go on for about 1.5 km. At traffic-light turn right direction Mojosari (about 15 km) where you will pass Watukosek, Ngoro and the flat-barren-sugar cane field. Once reaching Mojosari, at the Main-road junction, take left to Pacet (about 17 km), a straight-up road passing the famous Bir Bintang brewery facility on your left. Once at Pacet, after Police station and Kelurahan follow this main road turning left etc. until you see the direction "Coban Canggu / Banyu Panas". Turn right here ... then follow instructions for Option A. above ... Follow this road .... Proceed 500 m ...etc.

Option C: "Gempol-Ngoro-Mojoagung-Trawas-Pacet" route ... for those who have more time

Option D: "Waru-Krian-Mojosari-Pacet" ... this is actually the simplest way, but you have to go through the regular traffic which is a bit crowded around Krian.
